BANG! BANG! BANG! The girl fired several blanks, and then shrieked out something that seemed to be directed at Axis. Axis whimpered as the...well, it could really only be one thing. The rotting flesh, the greenish skin, drooling mouth and bashed in head....it was the classic image of a Zombie. Axis backed away, shaking her head frantically, wailing as she forced herself to stop. Ok, this was no time to be a coward. She had no idea where the hell the Army, the Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard or whoever was supposed to be here dealing with this stuff was, but they certainly were not here at the moment. "Ok," she told herself. "Just....ram it. Get it over with." With the same technique you use when you force yourself to jump into a pool that you KNOW is freezing, Axis bolted forward and rammed the Zombie right in the torso, yelping in horror when the thing literally broke in two. She was covered in rotting guts and skin. "Oh..." Revulsion forced her to shift back to her human form. She forcefully swallowed the bile building in her throat. "Oh God."

holyfuckingshit.
Cat stared in absolute awe and horror as a fucking werewolf shifted forms right before her eyes (you know, it was funny. As a hunter/investigator for this kind of stuff, you'd think she'd realize there was a werewolf living next door). She almost expected the Zombie's severed torso to come to life and try to worm it's way over to her, but quickly shook the image out of her head.
"W-Who... Who are you?" She whimpered, clinging to her gun like it and its empty barrels would protect her. "W-What the fuck are you doing here?"

"I...I...." Axis's bottom lip quivered, and quite suddenly, she burst into tears. "I don't knoooow!" She wailed. "I just woke up and everything was all crazy and I was TRYING to get some sleep and suddenly I woke up and the moon looked way closer and then..." she gestured to the Zombie's remains, " - THIS!" She was horribly embarrassed to have burst into tears in front of this stranger, but even Axis herself would admit she was a wuss. There were very few werewolves in the world, but the few others she DID know wanted nothing to do with her. No self-respecting lycanthrope would want to live in the city, they'd said with disgust. She wiped her eyes, taking deeper breaths. "My name's Axis." She sniffed. "And I honestly have no clue what's going on. Besides the whole werewolf thing, I'm really just a normal girl."

This was not the answer Cat was expecting.
"H-Hey," She mumbled, shifting in her sitting position and furrowing her eyebrows down worriedly. "Hey, don't cry. It's OK... I know it's confusing, but... I-I'm just as confused as you are. A-And besides, you're big and tough! Y-You can probably do anything you set your mind to!"
When that conversation turned into a pep-talk, Cat didn't know.
"I-I'm Catherine," she mumbled, smiling shyly. "Paranormal Investigator. A-And I'm totally cool with you being a werewolf, by the way--"(no she wasn't holy fuck holy fuck holy fuck)"--I-I'm just here to see what's going on."

"P-Paranormal?" Axis repeated, wiping her eyes. "Does that mean you've seen this sort of stuff before? Because I've never even imagined the moon could get so...." She trailed off, looking up at said Lunar object. If it was possible, it seemed even nearer than before. "I bet the others would know what's going on." She mumbled under her breath, feeling a rush of hatred at herself. Why, oh why did she have to be such a failure as a werewolf? And even worse than that, why did there have to be a stereotype she felt the need to follow. She shook her head to clear out those thoughts; there were much more important things to worry about at the moment.

As Erin was running it had tried to come up with a logical reason as to why the moon was coming closer towards the earth, and as to why there were zombies - which it was pretty certain did not exist - but could not come up with one. It decided to give up trying and just leave it be. As it continued running it noticed out of the corner of it's eye a gun shop. "Gun shop.. gun shop... gun shop... great. Time to get a gun." Erin stopped running and looked towards the shop. The window was broken. "hmm.. maybe ... maybe someone already came in to get a gun.. or a thief took them all... or-" It stopped itself there and added, "or maybe I should just check for myself." Erin walked towards the window and peeped in. There weren't any big guns, only two small hand held guns. "Well. that's good enough." It reached it's hand in through the giant hole, being careful not to cut itself, and grabbed one of the guns. "Now I can defend myself.", It grinned.

((Oh lord..well.. here it goes))
As Vail's eyes slowly opened, her transparent hands threw off her blanket. She immediately glided, to the window. Her uncolored eyes, shifted upward to the moon. "Why is it so close?" she asked herself. Displeased, the ghost like girl, lifted her body out of the window, and landed down on the cement road gently. Her eyes gazed around, looking for any other living-organisms. The street was empty.. but she knew there was others out there. She could somehow sense it, and with that, she began floating around town looking for them.

[ mmmm I'm starting but I won't be posting much for awhile ]
Was he seriously dumped in a garbage can?
Gare looked around with blank green eyes. His head and body were in one trash can - upside-down, by the way - while his arms and legs had been detached and stuffed in a nearby paper sack.
He sighed. Soon, he'd be running out of power, being powered via a wind-up contraption wasn't pleasant at all, but neither was being hollow and made of wood. He didn't even know what to call himself - an android? Mannequin? A retarded Pinocchio? The key that turned his gears was still around his neck, but without his hands, he wouldn't be able to save himself. He was abandoned.
A little bit of rusty-red hair fell over his eyes as he prayed that someone would happen to tip the can over and save him.
